Fred Buckle (burwydne) — a resident of Sleaford, Lincolnshire, Fred took over the secretarial duties in 1963, from Mrs Frisby who had succeeded Bobbee Roos in 1958. He held the role for four years and, following his unexpected death, Jim Barnard took over the reigns in 1967.
Jim held a number of offices spanning a period of forty years. After expressing a wish to retire from active involvement in 2007, the EACA committee invited Pat & Jim to become the Club’s first Patrons, an honorary position they kindly agreed to accepted in a joint capacity. Sadly, Jim passed away in the spring of 2017.
